Ahmed brings extensive engineering, analytics and operations experience from his diverse roles in the energy industry. As Vice President and Co-Founder, he oversees daily operations, including fundraising and managing deliveries. Ahmed is passionate about making a meaningful impact on the most vulnerable members of the community and his hands-on experience enables him to tackle challenges effectively and implement practical solutions that drive positive change.

Non-Profit Legal Counsel

Sumayya is an active member of the Alberta bar and has practiced as a barrister and solicitor in the areas of family law, real estate, and civil litigation. As Legal Counsel, Sumayya brings over 3 years of legal experience in assisting BlessEid in all legal aspects and registration processes. Having joined BlessEid in 2024, Sumayya is enthusiastic about helping children experience the same joy and sense of community during Eid that she was privileged enough to experience during her childhood.

Communications & Operations Lead

Sukainah is a dedicated elementary school teacher with a background in psychology and education, passionate about fostering a learning environment where every child feels valued. As Communications Lead and Operations Advisor for BlessEid, she reviews gift functionality and designs communication materials, including cards and social media content. Committed to connecting BlessEid with the broader community, she also strives to ensure an inclusive and positive experience for all children.

Non-Profit Consultant & Strategic Advisor

Sami is a management consultant and Associate Partner at McKinsey & Company, with nearly a decade of experience advising executives at Fortune 500 companies, startups, and non-profits on strategic, growth, and technology matters. He has guided over fifteen Calgary non-profits through his consulting course in partnership with the Haskayne School of Business. At BlessEid, Sami is dedicated to maintaining accountability, reaching new audiences, and achieving sustainable growth.

Munib Rehman is a management consultant and manager at EY Canada. With four years of experience assisting organizations in sectors like Telecom, Power & Utilities, Government, and E-Commerce, he specializes in strategy development and large-scale transformations. Prior to consulting, Munib worked as a chemical engineer/project manager in the Oil and Gas industry. At BlessEid, Munib is focused on expanding the organization’s reach and driving long-term success.

Nimra is an accounting professional with extensive experience in the Oil & Gas industry. Passionate about mentoring, she guides university students and CPA candidates pursuing their professional designation. At BlessEid, she oversees management reporting and ensures the charity’s financial processes are both efficient and compliant with industry standards and regulatory requirements. Her expertise plays a vital role in helping BlessEid achieve its mission and maximize its impact.
